Nepal and Myanmar

I've got 2 trips planned till July this year.

I'll be heading to Nepal in May to trek to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). After Angie and I climbed to Poon Hill in October 2012, we vowed to conqueor ABC - and to do it while we still have the semangat and physically in shape (not that we're planning to let our health go).

Myanmar was a spur of the moment thingy. I was looking at the calendar and realise that it will be a long 4-day break for Hari Raya Aidilfitri. So I looked at the Air Asia website, saw that return tickets to Yangon were cheap and made a booking immediately.

Then after checking up on the best time to visit Myanmar, I realised that it would be rainy season in Myanmar in July ... sigh ...

Anyway, a few days ago I received an email from Air Asia informing that our return flight from Yangon has been changed to one day later. I was like WTH because this means I have to take an extra day leave. But it also means we have an extra day to explore the country (smile).

This is the second time Air Asia is pulling off something like this. The first time I encountered a similar experience was during my trip to Manado which you can read here.

So there you go: Nepal and Myanmar - here we come!
